Yes, we require makers registered in Minecraft or Idea Incubators to purchase their own Minecraft account. This will allow them to use their account outside of class time! If your child already has a Minecraft account, they can let their instructor know and they can get whitelisted.
You can purchase a Minecraft account here. Please ensure your purchase a Java Edition account. Accounts cost $35 and are a one-time fee. That account becomes yours to keep even after their time at MakerKids is over!
